Welcome to the Independent Monitoring Board for Northern Ireland Website

During your time in prison, problems, difficulties and worries may arise.

The IMB are here to help.

If you wish to talk privately to the IMB about any matter concerning your time in prison you can:

• Ask your Class Officer to Contact the IMB
• Speak to any IMB Member you see in the prison
• Write to us, marking the envelope “Independent Monitoring Board”
• The IMB will try to help, or advise you where help may be found.
